My SketchBook
- When I first got my sketchbook there was a lot I didn't know about sketching I mainly just drew but after a couple days I figured out. Most of my sketches I tamper with negative and positive. I usually get my ideas from songs. Sometimes I write stories and put drawings from my life that go with it. But, like I said I like messing with negative and positive so if you ever find my sketchbook you will see a lot of that

Sketch Journal
- I started my first real sketch book this year and going back am amazed at how much I actually achieved by referring to it all the time.Nearly lost it once and I was devastated (left in the class room ). What I have added is a photo of the completed pottery piece on to the page with the original idea. I feel it gives me joy to see the cycle complete.

Sketchbook baby
- Sketchbooks to me are a godsend-- as a painter and ceramicist, as well as art director, I have ideas running through my head constantly. I use my sketchbook for when I can't paint or create-- I write down little thoughts, and very rough sketches, all idea based, nothing concrete. Plus, a sketchbook allows you to change ideas around before you commit to an idea.

Faithful Companion
- I take my sketch journal with me a lot...and when I forget it, I almost always regret it. I never know when inspiration will hit --- from worship services to visiting parks. I especially hate it when I forget to put it by my bedside at night. I often will think of solutions to aesthetic or technical problems when going to sleep or in the middle of the night.
