The Potter's Space

Starting Out With Clay
Pottery can be a mild interest, consuming little of your time or money, or it can become a major part of your life. If you are just starting out, it is a good idea to try pottery out either in a beginner’s class or by buying a bit of clay and doing some handbuilding on your own. If you are starting out on your own, there may be some questions that you have as how to begin.
Three Foundations of Pottery Skills
Your pottery skills will be greatly enhanced if you know the three foundations underlying of pottery-making. Your development as a potter rests squarely on practice, experience, and experimentation.
