Illuminating Pottery Projects

From , former About.com Guide

One of the first uses humans made of pottery was to create lamps that would allow them to keep the darkness at bay. Lamps could be elaborate fantasies or the simplest bowl. Now, not only do we have the ancient types of lamps...those using oil or candles...but we also have electric lights. Electric lamps of all sorts, from table lamps to nightlights, can also become a pottery experience.
