Guide Review - "Ceramics TECHNICAL" Magazine Reviewed
Ceramics TECHNICAL has some real pluses in its favor: its international scope, the coverage of technical aspects of materials and processes, and its inclusion of historical research in ceramics. If you are serious about ceramics, especially in its technical and historical aspects, this periodical is worth checking out.
I did find several of the articles difficult reading; the writing was, to me, awkward and at times confusing. This may be due to differences between Australian and American English, or it may be that the editorial staff could take a more active role with polishing articles.
For its intended audience, the other drawback to Ceramics TECHNICAL may be its overseas price tag if you are in the US. When you consider each issue has to be shipped from Australia, however, the price is reasonable.
