You will probably need to make some adjustments to the handle after it has been attached to the pot. Gently push the handle into a curve that pleases you and will be comfortable when used.
If the joints seem unstable, roll out a thin coil and weld it to both the pot and the handle along the upper and lower attachment seams. If the handle begins to droop, use wadded paper towels, newspaper, a piece of foam, or a wadded plastic bag to support the arch until it become stiff enough to retain its shape.
Pots with handles need to be dried fairly slowly. Since the handle will dry faster than the body of the pot, even well-placed handles can crack at the joint or in their arch if they dry too quickly. If the pots are shelved in an area with little humidity, cover them loosely with plastic, leaving an opening on the side away from the handle.
